1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Basic Black website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Basic Black provides event planning, catering, decor, and venue hire services. All services are subject to availability and require a signed agreement and deposit to confirm booking.

3. Booking and Payment

• A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking date
• Final payment is due 7 days before the event date
• We accept bank transfers and cash payments
• All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to change without notice

4. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation more than 30 days before event: Deposit forfeited
• Cancellation 15-30 days before event: 50% of total cost payable
• Cancellation less than 15 days before event: 100% of total cost payable
• Date changes subject to availability and may incur additional charges

5. Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate guest counts and dietary requirements at least 7 days before the event
• Ensure venue access for setup and breakdown at agreed times
• Obtain any necessary permits or licenses for the event
• Inform us of any venue restrictions or special requirements

6. Liability

Basic Black is not liable for:

• Damage to client property or venue not caused by our negligence
• Injuries resulting from client or guest negligence
• Events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure)
• Last-minute changes to guest counts or requirements

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, and logos, is the property of Basic Black and may not be used without permission.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
